Riva: Riva is the author and the one main character of this story. She is a honest, loving, and brave.
Mama: Mama was someone that wanted to keep her family together so much that she gave her life for them. She would do anything for her children.
Laibele: Laibele was Riva's little brother. Laibele was the funny one he always had a joke, even in the worst of times.
Motele: Motele was the middle child and the quiet one. He wasn't one to speak out but he was one to give his mother a hug when she needed one.
Moishele: Moishele was the serious one. he also protected his family. He lashed out when someone spoke bad about his family and protected them too.

Dear Riva Minsky Sender,
I just have to say that your story made me cry for the fact that you were loving and brave toward everyone you met.
The reason why i said you were loving was because you always took care of everyone. When your mother was sick or your brothers. The way that you faught for guardianship of your brothers really proved to me that you love your family with all your heart.
You are very brave because of the way (again) you faught for guardinship for your brothers. The way that even though all this was going on you still had the braveness to save your brothers and go on and still help people.
That is why I respect you, Riva, beacuse you are so loving and brave.
